Truth according to God, who has the authority of Brahma, the discussions and the wisdom of the Vedas, can only be understood. We should accept it with faith in the great Vedic teachings, recognising the divine essence, just as Arjuna accepted the teachings of Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita, a Vedic scripture, should be accepted with faith... so that we can understand the eternal truth, which cannot be understood by considering worldly wisdom. We should not ask for logical proofs to understand what is beyond our current comprehension. Instead, we should accept the teachings of the great spiritual teachers (acharyas) with faith in their words and then spiritually understand them, which is very simple.

The truth about the Lord's pastimes cannot be understood by one's own logic, argumentation, and academic education. We must receive genuine information, i.e., transcendental knowledge, from the Supreme Divine Person, just as Arjuna received it when Sri Krishna expounded the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita, or any Vedic scripture, must be accepted with faith... we must understand that the Absolute Truth cannot be grasped by speculative knowledge. We should not try to understand that which is beyond the reach of our powers of conception by inventing arguments... Thus, if we approach a bona fide acharya or spiritual master, we have faith in his words, and spiritual realisation will be very easy.
