In 2003, Shastra Dasa, an ashram resident, deeply inspired by Bhakti Tirtha Swami, described an experience on a rock in the eastern ashram:
The day began with a solemn oath, which was worded thus:
Voice of fire Mavo, eternal soul,
Which chariot can come from Krishna's abode?
If she were to return, prepared with me.,
Before Lord Kṛṣṇa's verse:
“Look who's standing by the fire of my greatness,",
”May he reign in the Divine Kingdom."
I am waiting for you
If you stopped me
And so may she bow to divine powers,
I have commissioned a poem about the fire of Agoha.,
I shall not return, nor shall I be seen again,
Serve God and love God with all your might.
Can you tell me if you've seen the mouse?,
I am increasingly associated with Kṛṣṇaloka
The giants reached the spiritual dwarf
I compose and I read,
Your home is love — Krishnaloka!
In the spiritual world - Krishnaloka!
In the realm of bliss — Kṛṣṇaloka!
Two years ago at Christmas

The horary analysis includes the following educational subjects: numerology, English, the science of the universe, practical management, local customs and the nature of Krishna. Children can watch or listen to their “Book of Krishna” on DVDs in the small village library, which is for children who live in an ordinary place and in a clean, well-kept house with a sweet crab apple tree.

The lowest literacy rates in the world are found in Sub-Saharan Africa (where Ghana is located) as well as in South and West Asia. That is why Bhakti Tirtha Swami felt this was an ideal time – and place – for ISKCON to play its part.

The lessons then include six examination subjects: mathematics, English, environmental studies, moral education, local language, and Krishna consciousness. The children watch educational DVDs in a small school library, or colour in their “Krishna Rhyme Book”, a treat for village children who live in bamboo and mud houses without electricity. Sometimes they have drama rehearsals, and they always enjoy good, wholesome vegetarian meals, offered to Krishna, of course.
